Badakhashan.......
What is Badakhashan ?
Over the years I have been asked what is Badakhashan ? Badakhashan is a province in Afghanistan. In the 80's when we were establishing ourselves as sighthound breeders we wanted to choose a unique kennel name that reflected the heritage of the Afghans and chose Badakhashan. When terriers became an addition we considered using Fox Briar at that time, but when our Jack Russells were featured on the cover of Dog World, featuring Badakhashan Linde Star, the Badakhashan prefix " stuck".
Below are a few Badakhashan representatives.
